Photo Restoration and Retouching

Orders can be made by phone, e-mail, or post.

Photographs can be sent as originals, digital photograph of the original or a scan on CD, see contact details. Note scans and photographs should be taken at a high resolution (see Contact Webpage for details). If you are in any doubt please contact us and we can give guidance.

No responsibility can be taken for photographs whilst in transit. Please include your contact details (name, address, telephone number and email address) in all communications. If possible include your name on the reverse of the photographs or on the CD.

Wherever possible your work will returned in 7-10 days.

Prior to starting any work, a quotation will be given by phone or e-mail. A written quotation can be given on request. Occasionally restoration work will reveal that more work than originally considered is required. In these cases we will contact you in advance of procceding and discuss the options.


Copyright on all photographs and images derived from them (such as scanned images) is considered to belong to the producer of the work, usually the photographer. The general rule is that copyright lasts for the lifetime of the photographer plus 50 years. In the case of professional photographs please ensure that you have written permission from the copyright owner prior to sending. You will be required to sign to say that either you own the copyright to the images, or that you have the permission of the copyright owner. The sender of the image will be held liable for any costs associated with court action resulting from violation of copyright.

Valuable Photographs

Remember Me cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for any damage to your photographs whilst in our care. While every possible care is taken with your originals, photographs are sent at the customer's own risk and if you believe your photograph(s) have a value exceeding the cost of reprinting the photograph(s) please ensure you arrange appropriate insurance cover and advise me before sending. All postal orders will be returned via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.


Full payment is due on completion. Payment can be made in cash, by cheque or by Paypal. See Prices Webpage or contact us for details. Payments delayed by more than 30 days will be liable to a surcharge to cover extra expense and interest incurred. Ownership of the goods shall not transfer to the purchaser until full payment has been received by us.

Breakages, transit damage, discrepancies and returns

Products delivered damaged or faulty must be returned to us within seven days of the day of despatch. Items will be replaced provided that any damage has occurred prior to delivery to the addressee's premises. The issuing of replacement products will be at our discretion. In the unlikely event that we have incorrectly supplied your order in any way, customers must contact us within five working days of delivery, providing full details of any discrepancy or error. We shall endeavour to rectify these as soon as possible after notification.


The Client may cancel their order within 24 hours of placing it.


Whilst we are convinced that you will be happy with our work, misunderstandings may arise. If you feel any concern with our work we would encourage you to contact us as soon as possible. We will try our hardest to work out a mutually agreeable solution. We are a small business and it is not in our interests to have disgruntled customers.
